This can make getting to and from the city a potential headache; but not for those who choose to use The London Heliport; London’s only licensed commercial heliport. Conveniently located in Battersea, within a short car ride of the centre of the city, the heliport is ‘London’s Vertical Gateway’, giving people from all over the world quick and simple access to the capital.
Established in 1959, the London Heliport has a long history of providing services to time-pressed individuals. Exciting new facilities opening during 2010 will transform the heliport, providing a new VIP passenger terminal and adjacent 70 room luxury hotel – Hotel Verta. This complete modernisation of the heliport will give helicopter owners and charter users access to world class business aviation facilities and services.
